We have been asked to look at a very large and expensive rental property in which the tenants have allowed 2 dogs to continuously and copiously pee on the tiled floors.
The smell is something to behold.
There are 2 room affected, the very large kitchen which is limestone and the dining room which is old/worn porous terracotta.
I suspect the urine has soaked into the terracotta tiles, the pits in the limestone and the grout everywhere.
Both appear to have had a topical seal applied at some point.
The cleaners have mopped with dilute bleach which has not had any effect.
Is there a product out there that that can magically kill the smell or are we talking about a full strip/re-seal and maybe honing to get into the limestone.
I am a bit wary of this job as I do not want to own the problem if nothing works.
Thanks in advance
David
