hi guys,
looking to set up a hard floor/ tile and grout cleaning business. I have been looking at the sx15 floor cleaner, has anybody used this machine?and would they recommend it. I have also been looking at courses( tile doctor )was one of these any good?

I have one but rarely use it, so don't buy one until you've done a course at least.
There are various courses available, it's just down to who you feel comfortable with during your research, tiling logistics have one running in early jan.

thanks for the reply, you hardly use it,is that because its no good or no need for it on most jobs.would you be willing to sell? which portable do you use with it? sorry for all the questions, is it a good business to get into?money to be made?

This question has been asked on here 1000's of times. You cannot transfer a carpet business to Hard Floors or Vice Versa. They require different equipment. I am not going to go through every reason why or start a debate with the CC's that use spinners, portables and TM's to do the odd Hard Floor. Essentially as well as the small peripherals you need a Mono Rotary Single Speed Machine 150-175rpm and a dedicated wet vacuum as your Bread & Butter tools the rest is personal choice.

I would agree with what Kevin says.
Go with a rotary and a good wet vac first of all.
Spinner tools do have their place but are something to add later once established.
I have had one for almost 13 years now and its worth its weight in gold every month for a poolside maintenance contract that we do.
We did however get that contract by initially using a rotary and wet vac.
