Title: BUILDERS CLEANS
Post by: johnny bravo on February 26, 2015, 10:59:27 am
What do this work mainly involve,    im a bit dubious about wanting to do this as i dont really know what it involves doing ,   any help would be great.
is it too time consuming , can things go wrong,   i work on my own so this may distract from my window cleaning rounds where regular wage comes from,

i been asked to clean show homes on a new build complex,  windows , gutter facias, frames etc,     they mentioned builders cleans,      i think ill just get the exterior contract.

Depends on the builder.

Sometimes they have had the protective blue stickers on throughout the build - sometimes not - sometimes for way over the recommended time so they are a ******* pain in the ******* **** to get off.

1. Get a scratch waiver signed before you start.
2. Try to get an hourly rate - if not think of a number and triple it

The main problem with builders cleans is getting paid the bigger the job the worst the problem is. They will use every trick in the book to try to pay a lot less than agreed or not pay at all.
