Booster pumps pressure adjustment
« on: March 11, 2014, 09:43:53 am »
Hi all

Is there a way to adjust the pressure on the booster pumps from john hewitt?
http://www.johnhewitt.com/pumps.htm

I'm under the impression that usually you can make an adjustment with an alan key, but there are about 6/7 different bolts so i'm not which (if any) will adjust the pressure....?
(He's away for another few days so cant ask him directly)

Thinking if buying a higher psi booster, but thought i better check if i can adjust it first...

Much obliged for any help gents!!

Yeah thats the one, although i was looking at it without the control unit
I'll have a look at 8800 although i'm thinking of changing r.o in few months

Have a 450gpd but its on constantly now, so thinking of getting a hf4/5 later in the year...

Hence if i can up the pump i have for now it'd be ideal, then get a 40/40 in a couple of months

That's what I have a 450 was going to go for the 4040 as I was having probs with mine the flow was slow, but when I changed the pre filters my flow is quite fast now so thought I'd keep it for now. You prob do much more water than me as I do mainly commercial and don't go thru as much as residential workers.

You'd defo be better off with the 4040 if its on the go all the time 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
