You should by law have one if removing the debris from each job. I always dispose of it at the job.

As Sunshine says you do need one, just go on the Environment Agency website it will take you through the process it only takes 5 - 10 minutes to do.

Or when quoting if you don't want the hassle make sure they are aware that any waste is their responsibility to dispose of themselves... Sorted

Or on very large jobs they can always pay for a skip for all the waste. Not my problem...Sorted

We've got a waste carriers licence. Alex did it on line it was free of charge and has no expiry date.
The problem you could have is that if you were stopped by VOSA and your vac tub has any dirt in it (remnants from a job) you can be fined up to £5000.00.

We actually got a letter from the council warning us about this quite a number of years ago now.

Ever since then we leave the bags of dirt next to the rubbish bin for the customer to dispose of.

We don't advertise gutter clearing now but when we do do it one gutter usually provides enough muck to compensate for the other that is reasonably clear. We have one property where both front and back gutters slope the wrong way, so we can always be guaranteed that both will be chock a block with dirt.
