Stamp duty holiday
« on: February 25, 2021, 06:25:28 pm »
Has anyone been affected by the stamp duty holiday.
I have had  17 customers move since the beginning of the year, nearly all have moved out of the area I work .    I have never had so many move at any time, and lost so many customers.

yes ive had quite a few customers move in the last few months but ive either carried on cleaning for the new owners or picked up other jobs anyway.......

ive picked up 8 new jobs in the last 2 weeks...all walk ups apart from one!
price higher/work harder!

Onwards and upwards chaps it could be worse we could be in intensive care with a bag over our heads eh,if you can get up in the morning at the moment we should think ourselves lucky.

I didn’t think the stamp duty holiday would have had any effect on your work, it only applies to properties under £500 000 doesn’t it?

You only clean country mansions don’t you NWH?

This another one of your lies being revealed again? 😂😂

You talk so much crap that you forget what you’ve typed.

You’ve had 5-10 move due to the stamp duty which means they are houses that cost less than £500k.

You are in the South East where £500k gets you no more than a 3 or 4 bed semi, you’ve said this multiple times.

You’ve been found out for the bullpoopter that you are, yet again.

I have had 5-10 customers move non of them under the 500k bracket I can guarantee that 🤣🤣 sod living in the land of coronation street is miserable enough when get a clip of it on the 📺 🤣,mine have cashed in the areas I work in you’d be lucky to buy a pressure treated shed for under 500 bags lol it’s all tweed and wellies down here boys.
I can honestly say if I quoted some of the ridiculous prices on here I’d get laughed at by customers I charge properly down here,we are talking 20 notes for a 5 bed detached 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah big wages to pay unlike some of those Blackpool window cleaners they pay 62 quid for 6-8 hours graft on the pole, that’s the sort of money I used to pay 17-18 years ago lol.

You still save the duty if over £500k but you only save it on the value up to £500k. So on a £600k house you only pay £5,000 instead of £20,000.

Most of us can be excused from not being aware of this as we only clean tin pot houses according to Nigel, he on the other hand really ought to have known this😆
