I'd go with the extreme medium mixed too. I've tried quite a few including sill brush (just can't get on with it!). I like to have a choice and a change now and then, but I like the extreme mixed the best. It's lighter, does an excellent job on the glass. Most of my round is domestic cleans at 4wkly. I think you'll like it well. It is also well matched with the carbon gooseneck if you're using the slx.

WIDE extreme medium mixed! YES for Domestic! When the corners wear you can simply cut it down a bit at a time, you can get twice as long use out of it.  ;)
Plus you hardly notice the extra width.

Good luck with the sill brush bob.  ;D I just couldn't get on with it! I've been using the extreme mixed and thought I'd try a sill brush, it seems, on the pole, to be top heavy and cumbersome to me  :o I've switched back to my extreme medium mixed again, much prefer it.

I find the Vikan sill brush unbeatable. Cleans the whole frame, the  glass and the sills. No brainer really.

I think you have got the meaning of the term "no brainer" confused with "you would have to be insane to use one"

mixed Xtreme for maintenance cleans. Flocked dual Superlight for first cleans. Avoid Vikans at all costs.

Might be worth bearing in mind - taken from Gardiners site. Might not approve of overweight vikan brushes.

" Any modifications or adaptations or fitting of non-approved accessories (brushes etc) render the above guarantee null and void."

That would also include fitting an aqua-daptor then.
