Scratch on Fireplace

Been asked to look at a scratch on a fireplace, the fireplace is not a stone one, it looks like one of those man made things but it is polished.
Has anyone ever polished one of these types of fireplaces?
Will a wax work on the scratch?
I have some pictures which I will post later.

Doesn't really matter either Klindex Stukko Tixo Resin or the Klindex Wax. Depends on colour really. Post some pics and I will try to help you. I may just be able to send you a bit of resin rather than you buying a whole tin.
