Where is the best place to but Shurflo pumps ? ?
« on: January 26, 2010, 03:26:49 am »
Hi gang,

I've been looking to buy a 135psi pump for my prochem steempro 2000 for ages and i can't seen to find any reasonable prices. I've checked out Woodbridge and i've got a feeling i can get them a bit cheaper. What about buying them from the states ? Would I have to pay income tax or whatever when they come here.

thanks guys

Anthony

Think of a purchasing a pump in terms as an investment..... Without a pump you can't earn money, so what is the point of trying to save a few quid while your machine's sat there losing a lot more money?

Ive done a basic search but have found Woodbridge to be the cheapest.  As already stated though you should look at it as a investment.  Getting a new pump before yours dies is a very good idea,  if i were you i would also keep at least 1 spare vac motor along with a spare water pump on ther van.

I was also looking for a new pump at the weekend and came accross woodbridges own pumps (as per my post)
£105 for a 160 psi pump is alot cheaper than the shurflo`s.

I am assured by the  top man at woodbridge that these will rival any pump out there.

Untill we try them we wont know.

p.s the 100psi is only £85.00

Cleansmart sell 135 psi pumps for £110 +vat with free delivery, they also sell 400 psi although they arnt on there website for some reason. And while i'm at it they do Ametek Lamb Vac motors 3-stage 1200 watt heavy duty for only £130 which is a real bargain compared to what Ashbys charge.

I dont work for Cleansmart by the way.
