Title: Clarke CBM240E Conection ?
Post by: Dean Lewis on February 05, 2014, 01:56:28 pm
Hi,

Please could someone advise on most effective way to connect my my existing 1/2 " Hose with standard connectors to the Pump outlet/inlets that are 1"?

I have tried a few Plumber merchants and they have suggested/supplied me with Brass compression reducers to 1/2 " and told me to fit a small piece of Copper pipe (15mm) into connector and fit the existing  1/2 " Hose on to pipe , secured with jubilee clips.

I would prefer tto have used standard Hozelok but Is there a way for this and would they hold the oulet pressure anyway?

Any help appreciated.

Hi, get yourself to screwfix and buy a 1 inch x 3/4 inch brass bush (£1.07) and a 3/4 inch brass hexagon nipple (£0.89) ( then you can screw on some hozelock tap connectors!
