I only take people on who either have no window cleaner or are unhappy with the service they currently get.

I never compete on price so will get good prices wherever I go.

I know some think you should walk away if they have a cleaner but if they are unhappy and generally willing to pay more then I will take them on.

This is a business after all and in my opinion the original window cleaner is to blame for not doing a good job or not being reliable and turning up when they say they will....

So when your at the door and they say "I already have a window cleaner"
Do you ask them if they are happy with their current window cleaner?

I just ask because i have been out canvassing for the first time this week and at first most of the houses said no thanks or i already have a cleaner and i just said ok thank and just left. Should I have asked the ones who said they had a cleaner if they were happy with him?

where are you canvassing Johnny and I will tell you if it is ok ;) I am getting a few enquiry's from up the braes, maddiston and redding etc, lots of new builds up there that the ladders lads would struggle with, maybe worth a knock

It is up that way its Rumford. I know a guy up there and he asked if I would do his so I started putting flyers out and then chapping doors round about him.

Hi
Knocking for window cleaning is a numbers game, if they say no for any reason then walk away. I only get new customers who have no window cleaner or are unhappy with the one they have. You will spot the unhappy ones a mile off cos they will want to find out more.

The real sales side comes in with selling yourself in the first few seconds and then closing them down to go ahead.

Any more questions please feel free to ask...
