Linking 2 washers together

I need to buy a back up machine to sit alongside my pramac pw3000 diesel machine. I'm hoping to get another identical machine so that everything is balanced nicely with jets ect. Does anybody have experience in linking the two machines to run together hopefully producing more cleaning power on the odd jobs that require a bit more force?

Are you trying to say, that you want to use 2 machines & then go to one single lance user & all the Ltrs & pressure combine.

Yes but don't know what the complications would be. I'm not saying all the time because I might have a 2 man team but for the jobs that want a bit more pressure and flow ect

you need a "Y" piece and some non return valves i believe.

We got this with check valves. It's same as this but with different connection fitting to each hose.

Just before Xmas we joined 2 pumps together totally approx 51LPM and was scating mossy block paving.

When o e guy let go of the trigger did the other guy get a shock from all the flow?

All the system is doing is putting strain on the unloaders to get more ltrs. The pressure will still be the same.
You would need a different set of jets for the setup.
The unloaders would only have a chance with compensating unloader valves in the system.
This is not a long term fix.

The pressure in the system purely depends on the pressure created by the nozzle and the unloader only limits the maximum pressure. Pressure is inversely proportional to flow given the fixed nozzle. We all mess around with kit but some have that slightly larger machine than most and that may be built in Britain

I use Lancashire Hose for my hoses etc. I had them cut to length the hose and supply the fittings and check valves.

Thanks for what?

No strain, whatsoever if you have the right nozzle in the lance or nozzles in the FSC. It's not a tool to create more pressure, it's to gain more LPM.

Even if you did that Matt your unloader would compensate as you would both have the same size nozzle in already. So no more flow could get through the nozzle anyway. Is your zeta not set up with twin flow mate?

Yeah mate, its got triple outlets and a K series unloader.. never tried it with two operators,

Non return valves up to 500 bar (I think) and I can link four pressure washers to give a total output of 105 LPM

Sounds good ! I'm probably getting my second machine this next week . Does this method greatly improve performance of cleaning? I will have 2 x diesel pramac pw3000 at 2900psi with 15 lpm. Have plans to get a mosmatic or BE whirlaway and am hoping this will clean blocks much faster and more efficiently with the extra flow.

You'll get the same pressure but the LPM will be linked. MY first jetter was 30LPM and you will have that across the two machines.

The difference when you jump up to 30LPM and above is immense but it takes twice the water, twice the fuel and twice the servicing.

It should be twice as fast, twice as clean and twice something else - just to keep it balanced but I cannot think of another twice
