People have told me the reason they reluctant to do this to there squeegee channels.
They might drop the squeegee and the piece that is bent might break off.
This gives the modified channel ends strength where cut is also looks as though it was meant to be like that.
Easy to applie/work with and sets like steel.

Ermmmm, if it broke off then just hacksaw three or four mm off the end and redo it. ???
I don't usually saw anything - just bend the tip in with long nosed pliers on the back of the channel.

You are right Dave ,
Have done another way to do this without using a hacksaw ;)
Will be putting up another post showing how it looks after it is done ;D
