sign writing removal

I have a customer who has requested removal of some sign writing, words covering a square metre , its been on there a few years now,  anyone got any ideas on a quick and easy method as I'm not charging her a lot but have tried to catch the edge of the signage and pull but its just breaking off.

Boiling water from a kettle, pour it down about a metre at a time , then it will be soft and pull off mainly in one piece, get the glue off with thinners.

i thought heating it, but not boiling water won't that risk cracking glass

Did the hair dryer helped as I have the same problem now and I was wondering whether it is a good idea to use a heir dryer. Thanks.

mix a spray bottle with metholated spirit, water and a dash of washing up liquid. blade scrapper.

go to car shop and order a caramel wheel , put It on a drill and off you easiest way

i used a steam cleaner to heat it up, peel off then i used autosmart tadis (tar&glue remover) to remove excess glue. Took a while about 4 hours overall but easy enough

I have done a number of these sign writing removals, I use a hair dryer to soften it , use a scraper to catch the edge then pull it off, keep doing it, the glue should come off as well, any that doesn't use the scraper after wetting the glass.
