It's sometimes a difficult choice to lock a thread. At other times there's no grey area.
We're human at the end of the day, and we have to make a decision based on experience. Sometimes, I just know how a thread is going to end and occassionally I've even locked them before feelings become hurt.
But, the site owner wants this site to be a 'class' resource for the cleaning industry. It's helped me no end, and continues to help with my day to day activities.
I'm sure many others feel the same. It's also good to have a bit of camraderie too, amongst fellow window cleaners in what can often be a boring, difficult and lonesome occupation.
I'm not sure if you were here when Philip Hanson was a moderator. He ran a very tight ship here, and was well respected for it too.
I'm a bit slacker! But this thread isn't very window cleaning related.
