Post by: RPCCS on November 29, 2020, 11:08:08 am
Mine is 2 years old and is making rumbling noises when in use, I have removed the brushes and lubricated the end shafts but still making a noise any ideas anyone? Can the motor be lubricated at all?

I don't think that I ever had a duo last more than two years for me. The hair and crud get into the bearings and mess them up. Untill a few monts ago, I had about a half a dozen duos, in various states of repair in my workshop, but they all had more or less the same problem. I used to think of them as a consumable item.

Could it be the toothed belt slipping?

So what do you use now?I only work part time ATM so machine hasn't had slot of use. Not used every day, sometimes not even every week
