« on: November 20, 2008, 08:48:58 pm »
i clean a very small front window for £2 takes 30 seconds at most :D,
Two  good things about doing it is it enables me to take a short cut across her path onto the the next house ;) and the other is she writes a cheque for 12 cleans every christmas  the lady pays up in December ;D

But i manage to fly through, and always get a brew and biccy - hes an author! Just used to paying cak prices, i will be sticking £3 at least on in jan though, only do it at minute when nothing else to do ....

:o My mum's should be £20 easy... but I do it for free, bless her cotton socks! ;)

I think the lowest price is a fiver (I don't smoke) but I am told a packet costs about that much these days... that's cheap in my eyes ;)

My next-door-neighbor.  I do it for free!

He's an ex-army Warrant Officer and elderly now.

But I've made a rod for my own back because when Wor Lass bullies me to clean our windows, I feel compelled to clean the neighbors too!  >:(

Other than that I do some bungalows at £5

£3.50 oap flats in sheltered accommodation - but one lady collects and has the money ready for 12/14 of them. (depending who's died or in hospital that month!)

So it's like a £40/50 job really which takes 1.5 hrs all in.

It's a game of three halves!

i forgot, same here i do my neighbour whenever i do mine :( he used to pay me when iwas a teen but now he is really poorly with heart probs so i do his windows, gutters everything....for free, but he is a nice neighbour so you cant argue, my neighbours on other side couldnt be worse, so i would do anything to have at least one nice neighbour!!

I do a clean F.O.C. for a neighbour.  It's the flat below mine and they get wet when I clean my own so I feel obliged really.  Apart from that, although any new work has a minimum of a tenner, I do another ground floor flat for a fiver.  Doesn't take long at all.
