Total amateur! Cheap ladders, missed bits when blading, parked ladders on the middle window too far to the left, no bags on his belt, used scrim in the middle of the glass after blading (why?), climbed further up the rungs than was safe, tried to be quick but didn't seem to have a rhythm. I turned it off before it finished. That was painful to watch!

With a pointed ladder that would have been so much quicker, safer and easier.

picked up a customer in Thursday because the trad cleaner doesn't use ladder mits

He has marked every sill on her new windows over a year.

Quality was good. But why do that.

She was upset when she spotted all the marks.

Deep a deep clean on sills. (Magic sponge with a cleaner)

Sills looked brand new.

Some? That's the standard of most cleaners I see now.

All the good trad lads round here have gone WFP. The only trad lads I see are new starters and are worse than that.

I did some trad yesterday (nearly 3 hours) quality ped all over WFP.

I am seriously looking into doing some bottom windows Trad now.

LOL. if that is what people think trad is no wonder so many on here slate it so much

Unfortunately its true. I think trad does a better job to some degree and with the right work you can earn the same as wfp. The reason i went for wfp is;

Safety - That chap in the video looked like he was gonna wobble and fall off on the second ladder position.
Speed - He tried to be quick going up and down ladders, yet it undone him.
Sills and frames - I use clean water to clean sills/frames and are scrubbed not wiped.

The chap in that video is "new generation" of cleaners.

I have been WFP for around 5 years now and when i started it was HARD to get people to switch to WFP. This is because there was decent trad cleaners about. In my area, i was one of the first to swap over in busy villages. And my local competitors have now followed.

I have gone from an 2000 golf - 2001 boxer van - 2006 combo - 2014 transit custom all in the space of 4 years.

Other cleaners i see are doing the same.

I am not worried about losing work to trad cleaners as no decent ones exist now in my area. Now i am concentrating on keeping my WFP standard high.

With this i am trimming my work, keeping the best work, upping prices and no longer expanding. I will need to replace the work i drop or lose from them not accepting my price rises. I intend to stop all additional extra services and just solely concentrate on windows and just one other service i really enjoy :)

I have been watching a few WFP cleaners and i am now starting to see where they are poop and where they are better than me.

I "think" most guys hate trad on here as because there aint no decent ones left.

where are you? i think a lot depends where you are really. where i am its 50/50 and alot of wfp guys have a bad name around here as bad cleaners, i regularly take one guys work who lives 5 streets away from me because he underprices because he does a bad job, i quote higher and do a good trad job, if i switched to wfp id probs be tarred with the likes of his brush..
