New balls please !
« on: February 07, 2016, 04:38:17 pm »
bit early for me, but customer wanted their courts cleaned...

Caught out as I quoted these last sept and they were no where near like this 😟

Never seen this much slurry out of Tarmac...

But I managed to get a passable clean 🙄

I've never quoted for that type of work, should I be looking at the standard price for cleaning slabs or slightly more like mono including sanding pricing.

The court is 24x11 meters but then there is the surround so 32x20

These took me a day each !! I wasn't expecting that, however they are bad, so bad I brought a wheelbarrow on day 2 and filled it up over 15 times

I expected to have the pair done in a day - maybe possible if they only need a light clean 🤔

Brushing the surface clean on a dry day would be much better than trying to deal with loads of wet slurry surely?

Banter is a good thing but can soon turn nasty after all this is ciu  ;D

Anyhow you did well smudger getting those two neglected courts pressure washed in two days.

It still boggles me though why owners of tennis courts let them get so bad. You would think they would have a chap/firm to maintain them properly all year around.

Lets face it most people don't come on here as much these days so the banter is somewhat reduced - I've not been called racist for weeks  ::)roll Chris Snott has been tied up a lot recently and KIevin spends most of his year abroad - in an old folks home in the Bahamas on official company business

It's a holiday park, from what I gather the manager suddenly became concerned about H&S oF the holiday makers 🤔

I like banter ! Might not always understand it 🤓
