I'm going to have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off of next week.  I will probably have new years day off the week after which I believe is a Tuesday.

I was hoping to have the week off at Xmas but it looks like I will have to work most of it now as I've drifted a bit behind with my work. I will take the public holidays off of course.  I suppose that as most of my customers will be off work that week, I will probably do later starts than usual.

Work Christmas Eve, then not back until 3 January.

Same here, but probably only until 12 on Christmas Eve.

Christmas eve until lunchtime, normal day on the thursday, half day friday, full day the following Monday, new years day off then back to normal.

But I won't be doing any domestic work after this friday until the new year.

Basically, if the shops are open then I'm working  :'(

Actually Ian's reminded me...
I'll have to pop in on the thursday to do 2 pubs, and possibly a couple of shops if they're open.
Should be back home within the hour, so it won't feel like a work day!

My past experience cleaning windows over xmas is not to good most residential  customers are skint and want to pay next time . Also dont like you waking them up on there holiday break. We got a couple of schools to do other the festive period so at least we should get some money in to go towards the lads holiday pay. finish 24th back on the 28th and 29th then off till the 2nd  ;)

Spot on.
People don't want bothering over Christmas.

Last thing I want is tradesmen coming round.

I've never found it a problem myself.  Mind you, I avoid starting before 10 AM during that week as many people treat them like Sundays.
