What pole at height:

Ionics ergolite is the most rigid telescopic for gusty conditions but heav-ish and wide diameter.

Facelift is about the same as the Xtel hybrid pole for rigidity, both telescopic,  lighter than an Ionics ergolite (although not as rigid in comparison) and smaller diameter. The facelift has a smaller diameter than the hybrid but is in 6ft lengths instead of 4ft 6 to 5ft.

Tucker has the smallest pole diameter along with Facelift, telescopic, heavier and bends in the middle of the pole but isn't too whippy.

Unger Carbon Tec Hi-Flow is the heaviest of the modular poles. Build quality is it's best selling point but practicality this is only ideal up to 30feet max as it's too  heavy but more importantly it handles like a snake and pole connections are likely to undo at height with the snake movement whilst cleaning.

Supalite mk 1 is the lightest of all these poles mentioned above by a big comparison, it's modular and not suitable for working in confined spaces because of awkward heights to be reached and becauses on a windy day is difficult to control the top (Brush head) of the pole because of it's lightness.

In summary:

Best telescopic at height: Ionic ergolite or possibly Facelift

Best modular: 'Supalight'

Emporium with the first 4 sections wrapped is a Maver on steroids.

It`s what i wanted it`s exactly the same as the original Maver only stronger,it will go straight into the carbon insert gooseneck but you still have the advantage of having the plastic taper thread that goes over the end for the plastic gooseneck if wanted. With the plastic tube that goes over end of the top section the fit is tight therefore no spinning of the brush if you want to use this attachment but i prefer to use the old carbon insert gooseneck myself, don`t forget this pole is mainly carbon not fiberglass mix therefore it is very very light even with the first 4 sections wrapped, and having them wrapped makes the pole even stronger.

We use Ionic ergolite. Very durable pole. And the lightest telescopic pole.

If you are employing I would be wary of modulars. They are easily broken.

Must confess, I am thinking of getting a modular anyway as I am very curious about the lightness. I won't be giving it to the lads though as it will last 1 day in their hands IMO

Once you get used to any pole you are happy with it.
I'm sick of people telling us which pole is best, every one to their own though.
Luke , shut it about the sl2 I've heard enough, I'm sure Im not on my my own saying this
When I got my new pole I went for a pull and kept it to myself, I didn't broadcast it to the world.
