Hey I have been converted. For years I have cleaned with scrim only to see my friends start buying a slightly more expensive Blue Glass cloth.

Well, I picked up 20 and give them a whirl. The other thing as well is I have just took on a new lad who cant work with scrim and prefers these blue glass cloths too.

Well I tried them amd they are brill. I have ordered two more boxes.

You have hit the nail on the head. My scrim needs to find a new home. I use a lot of scrim. I use the lauderette probably 3 or 4 times per week then I like them to naturally dry as they are better to work with than tumble dried.
I use the lauderette becuase the fibres block up the washing machine at home!
Many a time we would have visitors around the house and all you would see was scrim on all the radiators etc.
Well not now - added bonus of these cloths is that I can wash them at home saving £2.70 a pop at the laudertte, plus they tumble dry perfectly.

I sent some out to two window cleaners, Wagga and Richard Lingford, they love em too. Infact Wagga's comment was that they were the 'mutts nutts'

That still makes me laugh now

I know exactly what you mean. When dry they catch all the skin on your hans too. Thats why these new blue glass cloths are better

A very good question. And one I asked the first time I looked at them. One blue cloth will last three or four times longer than scrim.
You know when you get that fleck of soap water on your glass taht you just cleaned. Remove it with a scrim and you have to use a bone dry one, rub a bit, then remove the bits or smear it may have caused. Not so with these blue cloths. Its absorbancy takes of this and mark in almost one pass, no smear!

To clarify, I use the blue window cloths for detailing and the microfibres for wiping my squeegee. maybe a bit extravagant but works for me.
As regards cost and supply, I would contact Ramon direct and they will give you the nearest supplier. They def. beat scrim any day and look more professional.

I use WCW's own blue microfibre. I've never used anything else but they seem fine although you do get through quite a few when the weather's not so warm. Are these Ramon cloths better do you reckon?

used to love scrim when it was broken in, then came along micro fiber making them old hat.

pros to scrim, great at sucking in water

cons when warm leaves fibers on the glass and also smears in direct sunlight.

Micros fibers, suck in water out of the packet, and do not leave fibers on the glass, and wiping in direct sunlight does not leave smears as long as they are clean.

(time is money as they say;) I ordered friday and things arrived on Saturday (enough said)

I will be totally honest with you I just wanted them delivered the next day, I did not want to waste 30 mins looking to save £5 or it would have cost me a lot more. (price shopping is not always a good thing for business, more so if you are very busy.

I would say good for you but I don't use them, I prefer scrim.

Help? Magazine? Im not sure what your saying here. I actually pay all the costs of a free magazine because I love window cleaning. The magazine is full of tips etc and benefits not just this forum but world wide, so Im not sure what your saying.

Yes. I wanted to know what prices were being paid so that I could negotiate a really keen price for windys and offer them at a near cost price.

For everyone. Just worked something out but not sure how to gear it to windys yet.
Wether we offer them through special on the mag or link to my company High Shine Ltd.
If I am honest with you there is pence profit on it. If I can negotiate some good deals for windys then I will try it.

no mate, I have 2 houses, and am a qualified plumber, property flipping and investing didn't work out sadly the property market crashed as I was flipping a house (you know the one I invested and spoke about)

You clearly don't have a clue what I do off off here, I ask questions about prices because genuinely I have a reason too, do you know what I have bought and sold in the last 2 years (the answer you will be looking for is no)

I have one van now as 1 sold one a few months ago to fund a start up a business online (will not go into that as will only confuse you) although I do respect you remember alot about me, means you think of me bless  

You know bullies only bothered me at school, now I laugh at people like you.
