I'm a bit confused which length I should get, I'm just doing domestic, but some house do have a second story which is quite high, and rarely a third story house.

Should a 24ft be enough for me? Or perhaps an 28ft? (I'm going to buy a 12ft extender for all the regular easy ground and 1st floor work)

Does anyone have a picture of a house/building that can be done with a 24ft pole?

Hm, one of my houses is just a tad higher then that, so I might need a 28ft. Thank you very much for the picture.

I would go for a bigger pole than I need at the moment just in case

The one I sent you is a 24 ft powerpole
but I do have two extra sections I can add as and when required
making it a 36 ft

@ John Garnett ; I know what you mean, but I'm still on a budget, I can't go over the top. But thanks for thinking of that.

If you thinking of using the 28ft for standard domestic work which is mostly first storey youll be knackered and look like popeye in no time. its better to go lighter as you can work for longer. May I suggest a 4ft extender for tight spots (ground floor windows in alleys,shop windows, conservatories etc) a 17ft x tel for most domestic and a 40ft Hybrid xtel and you wont need anything else for domestic. People will disagree as we all use different poles but I find this combination of poles will cover 99% of jobs youll do be it domestic or commercial. if you cant stretch to the 40ft now dont worry as the 17ft will still reach most things so wait until you have got the cash.
You can add and remove sections from the xtel poles, but theres not alot of point just buy what you need.

If you are not in a hurry I would wait. There are at least two carbon telescopic tapered coming to market.

If you didnt mind the weight of it the Omnipole is a good buy. You could get say a 36ft , and it comes apart so you can use just the sections you need for each job
