Let me know as chances are they are mine.
Stole my van whilst i was working, then when in my van they found my other keys in my jacket pocket which had a nice new BMW key on then they saw my address on my windows were cleaned today slips so decided whilst i was stranded without a van to rub salt in and goto my home address and steel my car too.
Unlucky or what!!

How did they start your van? Don't you have a tracker fitted?

A spare leisure battery under drivers seat, with wire coil in the seat itself using a remote on/off switch which is carried on person at all times is great for stopping these opportunist in their tracks. 😂😂

If only, if only 😒

I reminded my chaps last week about leaving the keys in whilst working. Easily done - especially on a driveway and especially if it isn’t your own van.

Not sure if that’s what’s happened here.

I hope you get it back Mick.

Dont wish this on anyone but is clearly a case of keys in van which is frankly the most stupid thing anyone can do. Trackers cost nothing. If one of mine was taken I would just follow it on the tracker and go get it within a few minutes.

I use ram tracking like a lot on here. There are other to choose from.

I can see it from anywhere including my phone. In this case I would have one of the girls in the office drive me with the spare key and follow the van on my mobile. As soon as it stops I jump in and take it back. simple. Hopefully at there place so I could give the police their address.

My van key stay with me even if I get out the van for a few seconds.

My car key stays indoors well away from the letter box.

Simple really. Sorry to sound rude and uncaring but it don't take much working out before the event happens.

Mmmm you can't just get into a van a drive off in seconds. Sorry but keys were in the van, clearly.

For the record I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Scum!

he does say his other keys were in his jacket in the van on his first post , as for your trackers there not worth poop as theres only three place to fit them on a van and can be riped out in seconds  my brother in law is top tech at masnot

No my key was not in the van.
i was either pick pocketed or it fell out my pocket when pulling reel out with pole.
i believe i was targeted. i have van key seperate from my car and house bunch which were in my jacket pocket which was in the van.
im not overly bothered about van or car being stollen as insured..its the gear in the back which wasnt insured!!
Im up and running again and not letting it get me down.
just if anyone gets offered any gear cheap think of me before you buy it as prob mine.

What the hell I can't believe we tend to see these posts occasionally from time to time and we just don't believe it will happen to us I tell you something today I had the keys in the ignition while I go out of the van to do a few bits went back to see a customer
I think this is just reminding me now that we all have to be super careful I'm sorry to hear your cars have been stolen that's absolutely poop and it's really bad to lose all your equipment bloody hell absolutely we must keep our eyes open
I actually logged on to post I spent £700 on Gardiner poles yesterday from gardiners and I felt happy but obviously seen your post has made me think twice so I decided not to Jesus Christ sounds like a total nightmare I just can't believe people are hanging around window cleaners wanting to steal their vans I mean what the hell can you do with a stolen van anyway you register it stolen where do you sell it what do you do they also stole your BMW bloody hell
Did you call the police and tell them to go to your house quickly I'm guessing your phone was stolen as well

I feel for Mick but I wouldn't let it put me off buying a pole Crystal. My gear is all insured with Alexander Swan as long as my vans are locked which they always are.

Yer no what I meant was the other day I decided to get a 35 n 18 slx treat my self rather then a new 25 obviously saving weight per job but paid alot for the luxury as 25 will do 95% and my old 32f 12 year old thing did the last 5%
Was going make a big song n dance with it's own post then I read this....... hope it wasn't all new n expensive gardiner stuff mate shocking who thinks these r opportunists or who thinks they're targeting..
