Clean It Up

I found a scrap of paper, last week, in the kitchen with a name, address and phone number on it. Also said 9am Saturday.
I thought to myself, I do not remember that conversation...I really don't!
I checked the recent history on my phone and she had called me Tuesday at 7.15pm for about 5 mins.
On Tuesday I had a few drinks in the evening and obviously one too many.
So Saturday morning about 8.30am I text her to say I was on my way and she replied 'great'.
Ok this is good I thought.
I turned up and the husband came out (nice chap) and there's me looking at the front windows.
He disappears round the back and leaves me there.
He reappears looking at me like i'm an idiot. He says "are you coming round the back"?
So off I go round the back and met his wife, who's name I'd written down.
So I said to her 'would you like your windows cleaned every 8 weeks?'
No she says my husband does them.
So I look a bit confused and she says 'you're here to quote for a patio clean'
All became clear. I'd been recommended by a regular window custy whose patio I had cleaned.
She was very nice and laughed about it. I did a test patch and got myself a day's work in July.
Ho Hum!

If I'd have seen anything with Saturday on it I would have binned it.

I was half expecting his one night stand to be in the door way after a heavy night in the booze ;D
