We’re all going to get.
Don’t worry.

For the vast majority it is not a serious illness, even Prince Charles at 74 has apparently carried on working from home (no idea what work that is, guessing it is not home improvements, DIY)

Did anyone see the recent clip of Prince Charles during an official engagement? He came out of the car and there was a line of people there to greet him, he offered a handshake to the first person in the line which was quickly rebuffed, noticing his mistake he had a little chuckle and sheepishly nodded to the person instead. He then he went along the line to the next person.......and tried to shake his hand🙈🙈😂😂
I’m not in the least surprised the buffoon has contracted the virus😆

And that's why I don't trust you window cleaners to work safely. (http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1585316134_grin[1].gif)

No self isolation and I’m currently working from home.
I’ve taken away the word moron in my original post btw. Not helpful. Tho my opinion stands.

Scottish health minister today said that although the confirmed number of cases in Scotland is just over 1 thousand, it is estimated that the true number of those infected with the virus will be closer to 60 000😲😲

How long to self-isolate
If you have symptoms
If you have symptoms of coronavirus, you'll need to self-isolate for 7 days.
After 7 days:
if you do not have a high temperature, you do not need to self-isolate
if you still have a high temperature, keep self-isolating until your temperature returns to normal
You do not need to self-isolate if you just have a cough after 7 days. A cough can last for several weeks after the infection has gone.
If you live with someone who has symptoms
If you live with someone who has symptoms, you'll need to self-isolate for 14 days from the day their symptoms started. This is because it can take 14 days for symptoms to appear.
If more than 1 person at home has symptoms, self-isolate for 14 days from the day the first person started having symptoms.
If you get symptoms, self-isolate for 7 days from when your symptoms start, even if it means you're self-isolating for longer than 14 days.
If you do not get symptoms, you can stop self-isolating after 14 days.

My mums just phoned up.....the hospital rang and said they've found coronavirus in dads sputum......my brother picked him up from hospital a d took him home yesterday so he s self isolating too now......
80% of us will get this virus at some point and most will recover within 2 weeks....
I've been telling my parents to stay in for weeks....they like going to little towns shopping.....they've been out virtually every day for 2 weeks.....

Has your Dad been having treatment for his cancer, Daz? I'm taking it that he has if he's been in The Christie.
Chemo harms your immune system, so he'd have been a higher risk, if he has.
Nightmare, mate, but hasn't it made you consider staying home?
-
He had his first chemo treatment nearly 3 weeks ago mate......my mum has rheumatoid arthritis and takes drugs to lower her immune system so they both should of been staying in but they just wouldnt!
I only go to work and limited food shopping, and walk the dog for 30 mins...that's it.....the rest of the time I'm at home like everybody else.....

That's terrible, mate.
You won't be able to see them if they get worse.
We need to be staying home to prevent more of this.

I honestly think it’s the shops that is the biggest problem Griff and I’m not just saying that because I’ve decided to keep working. I went to M&S yesterday, the self serve check outs are about a metre apart and they were full! I waited behind the marked line and the guy working there said to me there’s an empty one at the end, he looked disgusted when I told him I’ll wait as there’s no way I can keep 2 metres away from those already at the check outs.

Food isn't really optional.

Oh, I didn’t know that.
But they really should be using better practice within the shops.

Accordion to some on here he's a moron. Truth be told I wasn't aware it was a job; learn a new thing every day.

You can't trust the people with this, KS.
I'm now calling myself a freelancer and not a window cleaner.

The shops round me are pretty surreal at the moment. Good practices in place.

Jesus Daz that’s not good at all but you have to ask how many have they infected between them? I wouldn’t be comfortable with that.

Someone tell Boris he’s now eligible for £94 a week ::)roll

To be fair Daz, I suspect it’s a generational thing. My parents are in their 70s and it’s only the last week they’ve taken all this really seriously.
Wish you well.

I'm seeing lots of facemasks.
Saw a scared child too, when they thought someone got to close to them.
Just weird.

I’ll have my fingers crossed for you and them mate.
Agree with the generational point above.
My father in law (ex DI in police) still now thinks it’s all being a bit over egged.

I believe it's seven days if you're showing symptoms (which means you've been going around with it for a week or so). Apparently you're only infectious for a day or two after that, so 7 days to be sure.
But your family may have just contracted it, so they've got to isolate for 14 day to be sure that they're not infected but showing no symptoms.
This is just from memory though, so check it out properly if you or anyone you live with get symptoms.
-
Boris's bird will love him being in isolation.

Ha ha, I knew you wouldn't be able to accept it, followed up with an emoticon for good effect.
Just carry on trying to manipulate the data Mr Gammon, the un-window cleaner. Sorry, was that not grammatically correct and you want to try to make out you're not a moron because of it?

Sorry, my bad, it wasn’t the health minister, it was the chief medical officer, Dr Catherine Calderwood that said this.

Well done. ;D
