Hello all.
I'm looking for a document that covers the reporting procedures for accidents in the window cleaning business.
If someone could post this info onto this site for me then that would be great.
Alternatively you could send to: nunchuckatucka@yahoo.co.uk
I'm sure i'm not the only on looking for something like this. Please please help.

HAVING JUST READ THE ''Topic: How long does it take you to design a 'Your windows were cleaned today' leaflet? (Read 101 times)'' POST
I THOUGHT THE WHOLE POINT IN THIS PART OF THE WEB SITE WAS TO BE HELPING OUT OUR FELLOW WINDOW CLEANERS. NOT TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK OUT OF SELLING LEAFLET DESIGNS AND BUSINESS CARDS.
UNLESS WE'RE ALL WORKING ON EACH OTHERS DOORSTEPS I'M SURE THERE'S NOT MUCH CHANCE OF THE WELL ESTABLISHED FIRMS PUTTING EACH OTHER OUT OF BUSINESS.
IF I KNEW HOW TO USE THIS BLOODY COMPUTER PROPERLY I'D GLADLY SHARE ALL THE RELEVENT INFO WHICH ANYONE ELSE WAS REQUESTING.
IS IT REALLY THAT MUCH OF A CUT THROAT ENVIRONMENT WE WORK IN THAT PEOPLE WANT TO KEEP THINGS AS CLOSE TO THEIR CHEST AS POSSIBLE.
ANY VIEWS ON THIS WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Hi Sunshine,
I see your point regarding the post you are comenting on, however if you go back to it you will see the outcome of the thread this site is to share info not try to make a fast buck, I have sent you an e-mail regarding your first request.

Thanks Malky i think i'll pop in and get myself one of those books tomorrow.
Though what i am really after is some sort of formal document, explaining the way in which the company goes about logging and reporting accidents.
I'm trying to get work from the local council and they have a big check list of all H&S documents you need before being appoved as one of their contractors

I am an approved council sub contracter albeit not window cleaning side of things, this is the only documentation accident wise I carry which is mandatory anyway even for a one man operation don't adsk me why, have a look on the web under health and saftey every thing you need is on this site. There are council departments who will assist you in anything you require health and saftey wise, I have the council h@s officer checking my van about twice a year, he looks for safe working practises like fire fighting appliensess etc etc. Risk assesments are not as complicated as everyone makes out, only my opinion but the saying you can't teach common sence springs to mind, all the best.

Thanks Malky, it's very good of you to be sharing your wisdom with me. If the company grows too big for just me to handle i'll come to you first to help lighten the load. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Thanks again
