Hi Mick,

Have you thought about contacting property management companies, factors, and the like? They don't just manage single flats, sometimes they manage blocks of flats and even estates. Go in with some before and after pictures, they always look stunning.

Car showroom forecourts, filling stations, tennis courts, local bus stations, office car parks spring to mind too. Could you add on a lining service for the car parks - I'm sure I've seen hardware for that in screwfix or northern tools or similar.

If you look in the right hand top corner of this page, you'll see a line that says "Hey gcleanmick, you have 1 message" - click on that.
You're a Scottish window-cleaner? Licensed or not, get yourself along to www.slwcn.org right now !

Mick
You say you have been leaflet droping but how much at this time of year you should be picking up plenty work.

Try leaflet dropping say one thousand leaflets in an area and then follow up a week later with a door knock if no one home leaflet drop again should take you a day to drop and 3 afternoon/evenings  to knock but should generate 5 to 10 jobs before add on of friends and neighbours etc.

Most property management companies will have in house cleaners etc who will sub out the work contact all your local commercil cleaning companies let them know about your service.

One last thing fill in some more details.

Cheers

Hi Mick,

Get yourself some leaflets, really good results. Try and make your business different from everyone else doing the some thing, get a portfolio to show customers when quoting.

Sell your service and be confident.

Remember you will need a second business for the winter - maybe carpet cleaning if your interested.

Hope this helps
Alex
