Good machine, nice size with plenty of features.  However only get the features you need and not what you think you may need ie. solvent adaption, pump out etc.

Mines a 400psi, heavy duty vacs, auto fill with element heater and add on silencer which is great for nursing homes which is where I mainly use it.

I would prefere the vacs in paralell (sp) though.

no point........... not enough pressure to clean carpet....means lots of passes with wand

have 400psi version.........never going back...........its faster to clean with..
ok its a little heavier.......but worth it!!!!!

You can clean a carpet at 135psi, lots of machines in use at that pressure, so no problem.
But higher pressure will help to get carpets cleaner quicker - 250 is more the norm but the pressure is adjustable so you can be flexible when needed..
So for not a lot more money (investment) a 400psi Ninja will be a better buy.

Having powered the solution at the carpet you now need to suck it up pretty quick so a min of 2-3 stage vacs would be on my shopping list (3 would be better and thats a reason why Ninja have an option of an external vac motor).

He usually caries some stock - go and take a view and a play with some.

For somebody thats just starting carpet cleaning i think 135psi is plenty i think we are starting to get a bit carried away here you dont need 400+psi to clean a carpet ive got 2 machines 120psi and 300psi and both machines do a great job.

I used my 135 psi Ninja until 3 months ago and I never had a problem getting even 27 year old filthy pub carpets clean. Yes it takes longer but dont be put off by 135 psi pump. I rely on my prespsray and agitation more than my psi.

Never had a problem with mine, also agree with Ian (crap you need that bit extra) keep away from solvent you won’t need it, extra booster vac in time if needed, silencer extra bit of hose (out the window/door)

Darren

I never get carried away a rug doctor /vax, bex clean carpets don’t they? ;D

Been in business 21 years and used a 135 psi for the first 19 of them, got a new machine with a 250 psi, 2 years back. and wish i never did, why? cos I should have got a bigger pump years back. yes a 135 does the job, but a bigger pump does it better and quicker. cleaning a nice carpet it makes no difference, but when it comes to removing lots of dirt you need power, think about it it makes pure sense, its only down side is money and weight

I have 2 ninjas as back up one has a 200 psi pump and inline heat exchanger the other 135psi pump and 3kw element heater.

Always keep the 135psi on the van as backup as its lighter, the other one stays in the garage .

The 135 psi is plenty adequate for somebody starting off .

After all a lot of us started off with 70 psi pumps and 1 vac motor , like the prochem steameasy I built up my business for the first 5 years with one of these hard work  ;D but got the job done.

 All the best Andy Locke.
