Post by: telboy on March 29, 2005, 06:31:24 pm

IF I HAD A 650L  VAN MOUNTED SYSTEM .
ARRIVED ON SITE.
HOOKED UP TO A MAINS SUPPLY , WITH GOOD PRESSURE THEN STARTED WORK.
IF I WORKED TIL I USED THE INITIAL 650 L I STARTED WITH.
HOW MUCH  PURE WATER WOULD I HAVE  LEFT IN  MY TANK? ??? ???

This depends on several factors.

How you purify your water, D/I bottle only or through an R/O sytem.

And also the size of the R/O and the water pressure.

Like Roy says depends on a few things. You might be using 1 litre a min or 2 litres a min. Then theres what kind of RO unit so produce more water to waste ratio.

It is highly unlikely that you could run non stop by doing this,  unless you were just using your DI unit for cleaning your water and bypassing the RO.

In the past we have refilled midday using just the DI unit and providing the mains water is not too high to start with and your resin is in good condition you can get 000 - 005 readings, but your resin will be shot in no time.

Cost it out, it is often more cost effective to use an extra 1/3 bag more resin if you can get the work done in a day rather than going back twice.

If you could work from 8-5 you would be very tired (polite)
You may find that you dont need to work that hard anymore.
There fore you may not need as much water as you think - I think ?
