Richy - I bought my carbon tubes from here http://carbonfibretubes.co.uk They are modular, light, feel really strong and they were cheaper than i could fine elsewhere. They come in 2m lengths. I bought 5.

Kev - You can send me one of the mesh bags mate. Ive got a industrial unit to do the gutters on so ill trial it.

Matt - How do you adapt it to use as a gutter vac?
What other attachments are needed?

Do they come with all fittings or just the bare poles?

They come just bare poles. I ordered a silicone bend/length of aluminium tube(for the end "nozzles")/wireless camera/clips etc from ebay.

The vac came with a larger outlet - 51mm
I had to buy 51mm vacuum hose and 51mm cuff from polarbrite

if you can wait till tomorrow i will email you with the links for everything i bought. I havent tried my setup yet so might need to buy something else/change things around but i took advice from guys on here so it should all work with the stuff i bought.

Hi kevin what spec are the vacs you sell,,?
Matt- will the carbon poles fit straight into the cuff on the end of the hose or did you have to get a reducer?
thanks

We currently use three gutter vacs from omnipole - all year round - all with steel tubes to 48ft
They are heavy but do the job

I recently received an email from Grippa Tank - asking me about their website - I saw a setup with 60ft carbon fibre poles - I have tried to order - but no stock - this was ten days ago and still waiting for a phone call.........
This could be a problem if spare parts are needed.

Graham,

I got the vac with the 51mm inlet, but the hose that comes with the vac is 38mm so i bought a lrngth of 51mm hose from polarbrite with a 51mm cuff and the carbon tubes i bought slide straight into the 51mm cuff. perfect fit.

Hi Rich,

We've got an ionics upkeeper guttervac system we may sell if you're interested? You're welcome to pop down and take a look if you like.

Or we could probably hire you one of our systems.

Email huw@seers.it

Cheers,

Huw

We use a 240 and a 110, the 240 seems to have better suction.

Probably got grassed up by the tree huggers for something non PC, racist, sexist, ageism or just plain mentioning the food they may or may not scoff because its just not allowed. Probably because it mentioned poles 48 ft tall which would obviously offend midgets, eastern european migrant workers and also commit an offence by using imperial measurements without giving the metric equivalent.  ;D

For a 3000w or 3KW machine you need at least a 5KVA which is 4KW which I know seems odd (GX 270). I use a 6KVA  GX340 which I also use to run the gum machine. They are petrol but the missus would never lift a diesel  ;D

We have 2 and they have been great, no trouble. We also have 1x 16 amp 110v plug fitted to ours instead of 2 x 32amp.

Something like this would be a better bet - genuine Honda Pramac or Stephill which you can get bits and repaired. I'd swerve the Chinese sheet
