Thats ideal just add an FSC  to it, quick release fittings and a few other odds and sods and you'll have the basics. Someone in your area will give some training - but not too close

we have 2 of these 13hp honda and 11 hp honda,get yourself lightweight hoses,ideal for your back also turbo lance  and a good rotary surface cleaner,fone techclean,also get yourself some good waterproofs..

I bought one of these machines from Restormate along with an FSC and am delighted with it. Powerful enough to do most jobs and John and Lynn are terrific to deal with!

You get a 10M hose with the machine but one add on I would recommend would be a longer hose (they do a 30M one for about £140). You will also need a wheelie bin for the water for places where water pressure is low (I got one from £20 off the council and just use that).

So yes an excellent machine and well worth the money!

Good bits of kit, reliable I don't have any of their kit but I have heard good things - I prefer diesel, cheaper to run!!

yeah i have used them they are well built pieces of equipment i wouldnt go for the industrial vac tho comes on a very fragile frame, the flat surface cleaner and pressure washers are very good the ladies name is jan she really nice but can be bit forgetful if you ask her to send you something sumtimes!!!

Have been using one of there machines for over five years and no problems with it. Never had a problem with getting spares sent either.

its personal preference if you just use the lance ya best making sure its a turbo lance otherwise itll take you a lot longer flat surface cleaner can be a lot quicker as it does around 18inches at time width but can miss bits

That must be down to the user Richy - never had a problem with our flat surface cleaner

Tony I don't like flat surface cleaners because there is alot of tidying up afterwards, which you don't have with a turbo nozzle. I have also been pressure washing long enough to be quite fast with just the turbo.

You may prefer to go down the FSC route - personal preference!!

Problem with them is that you are splitting the psi in half (if it is the two arm model) and if it is a three arm nozzle three ways.

4000psi becomes 2000psi or whatever it is divided by 3?

Where with a turbo nozzle rated at 4000psi you generally don't need to go back over anything because that is what you are getting. Not getting the same width of cleaning pass but at least it doesn't still have grass growing where you've been.

Just get a turbo nozzle,flat surface cleaners are crap on block paving,you`ll end up going over the whole job with the turbo.I got both and soon ditched the fsc,load of rubbish and not worth the money.Dan

Sorry but dont do that flooring Dan, can take care of any carpets though  what type of shops are they?

They are my wifes,beauticians.She has 7 girls working for her,does the training for colleges and has a doctor to carry out botox ,restalyne etc,she doesn`t stop.i used to have 4 dvd, phone accessory shops but when the rental market callapsed i sold 2 and changed 2 for the wife.

You don't usually get stripes with a turbo but they do spread the mess further and they can only use what the machine is rated at provided they are sized correctly

first time forum user here,
I have the 13hp sigma  and when coupled with a fsc it leaves striping on older tarmac where i have overlapped.This has put me off doing tarmac drives ,would a turbo get around this problem

no a turbo will remove and damage the tarmac.

Tarmac is a pain for that , it also holds the sand when you wash down. You need to over lap exactly half so in effect you run over all the tarmac twice

I too prefer using a Turbo, on most jobs at least.

The one thing to be mindful of with a Turbo, especially on larger areas is the vibration. Prolonged use over time can lead to health problems (nerve damage, white finger etc.).
