Exactly!

Just wondering if you get these deals locally. Cause i never see anything like that on ebay. Like the aquilla machine and the mossy/pump.
Im in the market for a mossy, so if you have some local black market connections, let me know.  ;D

If you use the 21 litre pump at full bore on the 13hp honda at 200 bar and you then turn the throttle down does that mean you need different nozzles if you using less flow? Or does it just reduce the pressure?

The nozzle creates the pressure, revs dictate the flow so if you drop the revs to say 3/4 it may produce around 15lpm, therefore you will need to put a smaller jet in to increase the pressure back up

I do get it but sounds like a ball ache changing nozzles all time depending on what cuties water pressure is like.

Think I will have my whirlaway set for 15 litres like it is now and my new mosmatic set for 21 litres. So you just guess 15 litres on the revs? Turn it down a quarter maybe.

Measure out 15L into a drum, mark it with a pen, then experiment with the throttle until you find the revs that produce 15L and put a mark next to the throttle.

Simples.

or if you unloaders set at 200 bar you can just knock the revs back until it stops returning into your drum?  ;D

Hi carl my air cooled lombardini seems to be knocking out whitish blue smoke when not underload at high rpm, done an oil change today as it was a little high, valves seems ok, it also misses when it does it.... any ideas mate? when I pull the trigger it's fine with no smoke at all, but when I let go it's clear then it starts to slowly appear after about 30 seconds inline with the missing, it becomes gradually more and more... all pump side / unloader is fine, someone said it may be the govenerner?  ;D

It may well be a pump problem - it could be the enrichment / cold start adjustment but it would have to go to a diesel engineer to get it set up. The injectors could also show up like this if they dribble - does sounds like a diesel side issue. Lets us know what you find

I'm going to take it to the local diesel guys this week, it's strange how it only does it when theres no load,,, anyway, I've been messing with it all afternoon and so not getting paid, so it's going to the loacal engineers this week, will keep you posted  ;D

also Chris / Carl ... had the injectors refurbed a couple of months ago with new nozzles in so don't think it will be that so soon?

Cheers lads

I'm not surprised Chris suggested a "crack" test on the injectors
