Title: Hyper Grinder Orbit - first try out
Post by: CleanerCarpets on December 01, 2019, 01:06:53 pm
Go to say a big thanks to Kevin and Anthony at Tiling Logistics

Took out my brand new Hyper Grinder Orbit yesterday for its first test on a commercial job. Knackered, water marked carpet tiling. Its the brand new machine to replace the Klindex Orbit.

It work amazing - so much better than the HOS Orbot i had, the tank feed is the way to go. Copes with heavy soiling really well.

This new machine has a hydraulic handle system which is super smooth and you can set it to the exact height that suits you.

It also has quick release electrics at the head so you can now quickly disconnect the complete head unit and carry the base of the machine separately from the frame - genius.

The machine was silky smooth to operate and you can lift the wheels off the floor using it like a rotary - this also gives the full weight of the machine on to the pad for the heavy soiled bits - the drive board on this machine works perfectly and feeds the solution spot on. You can use it a standard push along orbital as well.

As you can tell i'm a happy bunny with it and thoroughly recommend it. Tiling Logistics didn't ask me to put up this review but if you are looking for a great commercial machine i'd say give them a bell!!

nice  ,  so is your drive board a different /newer type ?
I hope they improved a few small cosmetic things also ... my blue pain was too easily chipped /flaked  , the top of the chrome cover rusts ( keep it oiled ) the weights underneath mine turned to blocks of rust in a week ( had to remove and Hammerite them )
It cleans well though .

Hi John,

Yes it's got a new board, feeds well

I'll check for the other things and let you know.

A good thing to use for protection is this - https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-lubricant-spray-with-teflon-surface-protector-400ml/p/0342670

Don't know if you can get that where you are but learnt with my bikes it works well to keep the corrosion at bay

Jason

Thank you for the review.  It is always a pleasure when someone writes a review or recommendation without  a request or a prompt.  All new Hypergrinder Machines benefit from the latest Technology so you do have the very latest model.

Kind regards

Kevin

No problems Kevin - this one is a cracking machine and at last a versatile orbital at a good price and tank feed
