I have been asked to quote for cleaning the seats on a couple of coaches. One is a 53 seater; another a 70 seater. I was thinking £160 for the 53 and 180 for the 70. What do you all think?

too cheap where are you going to get electric from, water etc unless u have a truckmount.
I suppose it depends on where u are based ?
I would estimate a least double what your thinking.
best of luck anyway

I work for the company part time
Electric and water in garage 1 mile from home

I would have thought £8 - £10 per seat would be a good price :)

The problem is this.... what is a good price for you doing the work??
If you go by some of the advice here, you will price yourself out of the job...
So do you actually want the job?
If you do, work out how long each seat will take, and how long you take to get the water and electric etc each time, then compare that to what you charge normally.
I would personally charge the price Derek has suggested, as it is a real balls ache doing coach seats, so I woul dtry to price myself out of the the job but if I was to get the job it would really have to be worth it.....

£8/10 per seat aint gonna happen round these parts. I can get £4 per chair doing. stuff like church chairs seat squab and padded back support with gap in between. 7 minutes excluding dwell time.

You will be killing your back and many many hours work for just that amount just isnt worth it.
Go for at least double that, even then its too cheap.
