VI.4.2) Lodging of appeals
Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: In accordance with
Regulation 32 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) the
contracting authorities will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day
standstill period at the point information on the contract award decision
is communicated to tenderers. Part 9 of the Public Contracts Regulations
2006 (as amended) provides for economic operators who have been harmed or
are at risk of harm by breach of the Regulations to take legal action. Any
such action must be brought within the applicable limitation period. The
purpose of the standstill period referred to above is to allow an economic
operator to apply to the Court to set aside the award decision before the
contract is entered into.
