hypo to clean indian sandstone
« on: March 24, 2017, 05:09:51 pm »
hi thanks for reading,in normally on window cleaning section of forum.
i have a large indian sandstone patio, and posted a couple of years ago asking how to clean it and hypo seemed the way to go.
over the last couple of years i have used hypo and patio came up weil.
i was using a 3to 1 mix the 1 part being hypo is that about right ?
i pre wet the sanstone and then applied the hypo by using a sprayer, then aggitated with a large broom and then left to dwell for about 20 mins, but due to weather being dry,i was finding the pation started to dry out,wil the hypo still be working if patio has dried out after applying ? if  no do i just keep applying the hypo mix to keep it wet to lengthen the dwell time ?
thanks again any help appreciated

Wet it down then hypo at 4-1. The hypo will stop working once dry so keep it damp with a mist spray across the top. It should do its work pretty quickly.

I like to have a spray bottle of neat to squirt any areas that are not responding.
