Its still second hand and there seems to be quite a few machines being sold (truck & porty) could it become a buyers market?

That's a bad way of looking at it, a continental quilt wrapped round it would probably be sufficient or go for broke with a petrol heater can't even to begin to spell the name.

I do agree with the cost though as soon as they leave the show room a car loses a third and a buyers market I think negotiations with the lease company but you have to remember 'how cheap do you want it?' because it could get advertised evrywhere therefore pushing up the price.

The proble as I see it is that when you see the price new at £6000 plus vat you see '£6000' and tehn complain about vat but when you are buying at £5000 with no vat the opposite applies, don't be too greedy.

Derek

Am interested in the prowler will the leasing company deal with me direct? Hate going to auctions.

The way I look at it. It’s third hand so the price should reflect this; some say I was born in Yorkshire.

This is serious enquiry cash waiting (well chaps).

At £5k for the machine and £300 off Derek to repair the crack - cant see why its still for sale!

Dont forget its 6 months old and would cost £6900 if it was 6 months younger - thats a £1900k saving 0r 31.7%

A quilt keeps my toes free of frost bite on a cold night - cant see why it wont help protect contents of your van.

As Shaun says - use some other form of heater - maybe it was an Eberspracher heater which uses the diesel from van, or a separate paraffin heater.

Lining the van roof and walls with thermal insulation will do a world of good as well to retain the heat.

Using a quilt for personel use works fine as it helps create body heat but dosent help machines in van i had a quilt over my machines in January and it didnt stop the casing on the pump from cracking and it was only -8.Tried a few on Ebay for parafin heaters 3 different sellers told me they were to dangerous to leave in van overnight. The only thing i could do is to run an extension from my house to van but thats a bit dodgy.
