same as every year (business wise).keep refining my work.it never ends.a few price rises here and there in april.

i should have quite a few years of lower expenses after spending a lot this year.

looking forward to using hot water all day every day from now on without having to change gas bottles! :D
price higher/work harder!

worst bit was my oil pump failure on the 5th jan this year seizing my engine on my 12 yr old van! ;D

best bits were getting my new van and diesel hot box. :)

It's been a tough year financially. VAT has pinched together with the monthly cost of a unit. This against the background of a large loan we took out to give my daughter a deposit on her house that we paid off at £900 a month!

This year should get a bit easier as I have a replacement for the guy I sacked in October starting on 15th January and another lined up for the Summer by which time the third van should be full with regular 8 weekly work. I have decided at that point to stop window cleaning, including covering holidays. Mind you, best laid plans and all that!

Happy new year all.

I was approached by someone last week about work, so have decided to plump for that, we’ll see where that goes. Looking forward to using hot, without the risk of gas. Continuing to focus on more profitable work and drive forward in that sense. Let’s see where this gets us.

Best part was keeping my schedule for best partof latter 6 months. Scheduling my rounds per week, meaning 2 weeks out of 4 i was finished by Wednesday and the other 2 weeks got comometed best i couldby Thursday.

So hoping to continue that into thus year, especially as its now getting lighter per day and to continue growing the business by targeting well to do areas

Oh and make more videos for you guys as i know how much u all enjoy them

My worst part of 2017 was being without my van for nearly 2 weeks, almost paralyzing my business apart from where I was able to work within walking distance from home.

Best part was that overall it was a decent year for me.

Best for me was getting some local commercial jobs with great hourly rates, who are extremely quick payers
Also selling two rounds 25 miles from home
This results in more time off to do things more Fun than cleaning windows
Worst was smacking my van against a wall
Even that turned out pretty well, when I just unstrapped my tank and slammed it in my courtesy van for a week
Also I lost a large school job which I didn't want to lose
Turns into a blessing though as it was a hassle getting paid and I no longer need traction on my ageing body (it was a gruelling couple of days to clean)
