Me again
What do you commercial cleaning peeps provide your cleaners from head to toe.
We provide safety shoes, Bottoms with knee pads, polo shirts, tabard, fleece
I know alot of companies just give tabards.

what bout over shoes .
-
We provide tabards and ID badges to all staff. they have to wash and look after them.
-
what does ppe mean?
we've only ever supplied polo shirts, does anyone really need much else for standard cleans?
-
Personal Protective Equipment = PPE - i.e. gloves, overalls, goggles, etc
We provide polo shirts & fleeces and give them each £20 to buy some cheap black trousers. They also have gloves of course and goggles if they need them. I've also just ordered some tabards.
Cheers

As an employer it is your legal resposibilty to issue your workers with PPE. Personal protective equipment should be job specific. So cleaning toilets requires gloves and possibly goggles. If you have carried out a Risk Assesment as to highlight the dangers involved with the task being carried out then its much easier to work out what your staff will need.
But really as long as you issue each worker gloves, goggles and a cheap mask it is then up to them if they wear them and it covers any future claims against you.
Hope this helps?
