Hi i am keen to know how many others have had issues with the klindex levigator blowing fuses
especially when grinding , have purchased two of these and both have problems has anyone found a solution

We are the only Country that ever HAD this problem. The Levighetor is right on the maximum power draw on start up and we only have 13 amp fuses in our plugs. Klindex have now changed the Motor and Gearbox for all new UK Single Phase machines. There are however many other issues that need to be looked at. I have listed a few below:
1. Make sure the Household Power Supply is perfect with no faults.
2. Where possible use the cooker supply.
3. Never run the Levighetor and attempt to use a wet vacuum at the same time.
4. Ensure you are using the correct diamonds for the application.
5. All the latest machines are fitted with soft start.

iv used these on my portables , very simple to wire up , would fix the issue its happening upon start up , or first few secs . Wouldnt really fix the issue it happens during use after start up .

The main reason I have found for things tripping is circuit overload. The Levigator is going to consume 3kw. The maximum a circuit can take is 7200w so if a tumble dryer and a washing machine were on at the same time on the same circuit there could potentially be a draw of up to 9000w thats without the initial spike of turning the machine on too.
As Kev says a cooker socket is great as it is a dedicated 32amp circuit with nothing else running on it.
Apologies if I am teaching you to suck eggs.
