Title: Amtico tiles wood effect
Post by: Paul Redden Countryfresh on September 18, 2007, 08:53:07 pm
Been asked to clean a local shop with amtico tiles. these are about 6" x 2' with a grain effect, I assume a rotary scrubber will not get the grime out of the grooves in the 'grain'.  Would a sebo with contra rotary brushes do? or would I need a duplex machine?  My other question is would there be any risk of tiles lifting if scrubbed with detergent?

Thanks Paul

I would imagine there are suitable and unsuitable products for Amtico and you had better get it right, as they are EXPENSIVE !

Stu

I thought tight shine was a polish not a sealer? i thought the idea was to apply a sealer then a product like tight shine.
