Munson rings and threaded bar

My van came with ply sides and so I put two slats of 25mm x 100mm wood across the top edges and reinforced the joins with wooden blocks.
Then I used the U brackets that are for the pipes to fix in place. I just used 3" pipes but you would need bigger if above 25ft poles.

Could you post a pic AuR? I’ve got munsen rings threaded into a spare nut that’s in the bracing on my roof. The munsen ring I use most is still attached to the nut, just, but it’s not going to last long. I used soil pipe before that but there isn’t much in the roof that you can fix anything to. I have the new shape Dispatch.

And attach the munsen rings to some rapid rail attached to the roof struts. They sell it all here: https://www.jpldirect.co.uk/catalog/Rapid_Rail_B15050.html
I’ll post a pic of mine when i get a minute.
