I would be glad to give you a full copy as I am sure it will help you, all I ask is that you have a look round our website, as this is a new area for us (web sales).  so I am trying to promote the site, and if I can help another contractor along the way thats a bonus. and if you pass the word I have more info on contract cleaning.

Sorry, you probably fall outside our 30 mile radius for chemical deliveries (im assuming it was chemicals you were interested in) we only do this because it costs too much at the moment to use a currier service for chemicals. everything else on the site is not a problem. Just popping out for a slap up meal (Macdonalds cheesburger) back in 10

in reply to Norman. When we were contracting, I had a chemical specialy formulated which is isopropanol based blue in colour and fragranced which is great for colour coding as this product should only be used in general areas (BLUE). the Iso in the formulationhas a low flash point and therefore there is less streaking when cleaning windows (any Glass) laminated tables (not wood) and most surfaces including stainless steel. We still sell it to local contractors as it only works out around 25p per 750 ml it comes in 6x1ltr bottles which you would dilute following the instructions.(£18 6x1ltr)

The key to using a product such as this is to use clean microfibre cloths which are not contaminated with other chemicals. This is often the cause of smelly cloths. We also have another same quantities and dilution rates, this is red for high risk areas such as toilets and is highly fragranced.

One of the largest contractors in the world uses a product simmilar to this for obvious reasons, its cheap, its effective and its is easy to train staff on colour coding.

in the near future I would like to offer through the website, free information of the kind I am offering now(which I have quite alot). I know how difficult it is to source information for many SMEs, this can be extremly frustrating experience. so I hope I can help in the future and you can help me.

your first instalment of your proposal pack is located somewhere on www.laurema.co.uk it is the last page of the proposal pack, this is the last page of the standard terms and conditions of business for contract cleaning services. this forms part of a very robust proposal pack. to get it you just have to find it somewhere among 10,000 products it is marked "Click Here for Prize" if you realy think about it it will be easy to find.

Well done Andy. there is another document somewhere on the site for the proposal pack. This time it is an image and not a PDF. When you find this document hover your curser over the immage and write down the Code the time and date you found it and most importantly where exactly you found it. Next week as well as the documents for the proposal pack, I will be giving away free vacuum cleaners and maybe something a bit more special.

Nick,

You never said we had to hunt for the documents. You never stated we had to buy any thing. Your post reads, visit site, to help up the traffic, comment on site and you will send the documents.

Hi Dave, thanks for your feedback. You are quite correct when you say I never stated you had to buy anythin, thats because you dont, I said It would be great if you did. As far as huntin goes, I dont have all these documents edited yet so I am puting them on the sitewhen I do.

it is unfortunate that there is some people out there will take and give nothing in return even if your only asking for a little in return. as I said before im old fashioned, I think if someone is doing you a favour you should think about returning it. thankfully most people are not like that (including youself) and dont mind helping another small business.

Anyway even if you did purchase somethin what would be the problem, you would only be buying from elsewhere.

why hide the documents? are you under the impression the more page visits you get the better the site will do?

my first thought is i like the site and think i'd buy from you as looking to get some stuff you sell, however it's very obvious it's still early days. is it too late to add a page with information like privacy policy, terms and conditions, delivery information? i understand from this thread you don't deliver chemicals to my area but what about the even larger items? it's also not well explained where you are based so where DO you cover?

also the links in your footer all go to the homepage, perhaps intentional to "help" with seo but thought i'd point it out.

there i've helped, what do i get now?

thanks for that, great feed back. Its only the chemicals becouse they are such loe value items, just talking to a few carriers about insurance.

As soon as I get the documents edited (should be over the weekend) you can have a copy. I only did it this way to get feedback such as this. So many thanks

sorry about that I didnt explain that well. The chemicals are such low value items that the cost of transport is in some cases, as much as the chemicals. there are also insurance issues regarding some chemicals, some carriers wont take them.   I am sure there is a way round this, Like most things. this only applies to the chemicals any other items on the site we dont have a problem with.

I have written the policies you reffer to, but the designer has neglected to put them on, so I will get to that straight away.

I will also get on with explaining where we are based, and the radius we cover using our own vehcles, for any that are interested we are based in Blackburn, Lancashire. we usualy cover a 25 mile radius from base, outside that radius we use carriers.

Another thing I should explain on the site, all machinery is sent on a seperate carrier and free delivery.

Cheeres

Hi Norman, you have mail

I have sent you the full editable proposal pack. If you could do something for me that would be appreciated. We are currently doing a promo on face book, can you tell friends and family and anyone to log in and ask for "Nick Laurema" to be a friend details are on that profile on how to win £100 all you have to do is find an image and whoever finds it we will send them a cheque for £100. Last week we gave £200 on a similar promo.

Anyone interested, please only respond to this stream, then you can send an email. I may have other docs which will be of interest if you promote the website in whatever way you can.

Have fun, Nick

Cleansurrey, as far as I am aware there is no product on the market specificaly to clean (or rather deep clean) Altro or Altro Type flooring. Im not sure eco products will be aggresive enough for the floor you are attempting to clean, particularly in schools where their budget for cleaning of this nature is only allocated when these areas get realy dirty. If the floor hasnt been regularly maintained by their cleaning staff or the wrong chemicals have been used particularly bleach, this can often discolour the floor if it is a cheaper brand of flooring.

Dave from Pristine Clean had commented you can loose face with a job like this, This is quite true. we took a job on a few years ago which sounds simmilar. A school had asked us to clean what she described as an Altro floor and spruce up a carpet which was completley knackerd, held together with gaffer tape, full of holes and builders dust. Out of keenness I accepted the job and could not get rid of the stains on the Altro (type as it turned out) and she had expected the carpet too look as good as the day she bought it. What I would do now is say no or be completly honest if I wasnt sure I could do the job, because that caused me alot of problems and much of it is in your own mind as a small business.

since starting the business I have had loads of problems and some of them actualy happend ;)

Hiya Nick,

Thanks for the document pack offer and the opportunity to browse your web site. I was just looking at your 25ltr Ergonomic Top Bucket and Wringer Single which is advertised at £59.20 but when clicking as if to order the price suddenly reached £90 ex VAT. Perhaps you'd like to take a look. As I'm also interested in the pack you're offering, could you send me one please?

Thanks
