Had to stop myself from saying this to a customer today 🤦♂️
Cleaned he’s windows for about 7 years
I did drop them about 3 years ago due to late payment and customer is a c0ck
Every clean which is monthly there’s are constant stewards inquiries
Either I’m too soon cleaning the windows
Too quick cleaning the windows
After the clean is finished customer
Says see you in 6 weeks or is it monthly?
It’s monthly I’m never more than a week late 💆♂️
£20 job
Today I knocked son in law was stroppy
Isn’t gate already unlocked?
No, that’s why I’ve knocked to asked for it to be unlocked
I don’t mind we all forget things
I did text evening before 😊
When wife transfers money I’m gonna dump
To old for Groundhog Day
Maybe husband has had a breakdown or something
There property maintenance business did collapse
And wife’s gone back to good job in banking world
Given a good go but it seems the politer I am and the more I explain
The harder a time I get 😖
Moan over
Keep on keeping on everyone 👍

Instant dump as far as ime concerned, never go back to any ex customer always leads to further problems
-
I can’t think of a single reason to keep a £20 job like that. Dump and block their number ASAP.

Had one similar
£8 front, done for 9 years
Again almost every clean your late, early 🤦♂️
Get a life........and live it!🤭
She seem annoyed that even with all the rain we’ve had lately i was only 2 days late
Last clean 5th September
Yesterday 7th October
Suggested she marks my visit on calendar 🗓
Gonna keep saying that to her
See if her head hurts 🤯😄
Thanks guys

Dump them, you'll feel much better ;D
Personally, I wouldn't tell them. Just don't turn up anymore, see if they can work it out. ;D

I can think of two that I've dropped, but taken back on after I explained the reasons for dropping them.
Both have been model customers ever since.
But you do need to be totally honest with them.

I used to hate certain customers for certain things and in the end I ditched them for whatever reason but As above I have taken 1-2 back on at higher prices and they’ve been great customers however funnily enough I’ve had one I’ve reditched tonight and won’t be going back, monthly clean ped me about do I dumped her then asked to come back every 2 months which frequency I also offer at a higher price and I always tell the 2 monthly cleans that I do not go over 2 monthly and tonight after 2 cleans she’s asked to leave it!
Normally I reply back that It’s then or not at all as I don’t go over but I’ve just read her text deleted it and removed her from my round and won’t be going back again.
I’m glad I have a good rep and constantly pick word of mouth work up daily if I need it but I find I’m saying no more then yes to new customers nowadays!

No customer wants to be called the
“C” word 🤭
“Crass” 😁

im surprised some of you have any work left........ ;D.......you just cant go dumping jobs left, right and centre just because you find certain customers irritating,we all have them.....the trick is to try and humour them, keep to your schedule, and be firm but fair with them if they try to mess you about....
remember without customers you d be skint.......without a job.......look after each and every one of them.......they all contribute to your livelihood.....

Within reason, I’d agree.
It’s amazing how many times I’ll randomly find out a customer is related to about three or four other customers. That’s how our business tends to work, families recommend you.
You could Unknowingly dump a customer that has a knock on effect of many more.
If a customer is a total pain though, the other family probably know it. :)

Nah i'll try to accommodate so much.
But some people just wear you down and sap the morale out of you.
Fortunately they are few and far between.
But if they continue that behaviour frequently you are better off getting rid of them.
No doubt.
