Looks good, weight dependent.

Anti-pinch clamps!!!! Wish I had those on my old tucker pole. Lost a bit of skin to that damn thing.

looks good, would like to see a proper rigidity test done with weight on the end of the pole as the one in the film doesn't say much really..

Certainly looks interesting.

The spec and price list will be good to see soon.

Lets hope it has decent collapsed lengths, competitive pricing, and most importantly, is up to the daily rigours of being used and abused by staffed!

Abused being:

- collapsed from height with the clamp being opened fully until the sections smash together.
- pole hose not cleaned regularly to stop grit etc getting inside and jamming sections.
- thrown in and out of the van.
- dropped.
- banged against fences, walls etc.
- dragged along extensions/conservatories.

Joys of staff!

Anyone has a LONG way to go to compete with Gardiners, and lets hope the Phoenix range can provide a worthy adversary as it would be nice to have some choice.

Wow.... do you do any window cleaning with your poles on your list a part from throwing them around lol

I have the same problem..... my staff always breaking stuff. This one time, I was joking to Sam about how he manages to break everything i give him and how we should use his breaking skills to test products.
He then jumped into his van and drove off, with the back doors open!!

I shouted for him to stop, which he did. We had a laugh about how gormy it was and then he slammed the van door shut breaking the goose neck of my SMAX45!  Pillock! lmao

I love him really.....

The Phoenix was designed to compete...

Collapsed length of 17ft and 21ft..... = 5ft

And they are actual extended lengths....

Full specs will be released very soon...

can you please tell me why are your new poles classed as 17ft and not 18 and the 21ft not the standed 22 cheers james

I don't understand this.
Is the pole Lee has won a prototype, because if its not you should be able to give us closed length, section length and weight.
It all seems a bit fishy for me.

We have had a number of sizes and materials made to establish which works the best and gives the best performance. Vanfest was a rush job to get the poles ready in time (for the giveaway).

We have a closed 4ft 7” version (17ft and 21ft) and a 4ft 10” version (18ft and 22ft) we are currently deciding which way to go hence finalising specs in the next few days. Believe it or not it effects the price somewhat and we are looking to get it just right

2nd the above!
Will you be putting out video etc of a rigidity test with a brush on? Perhaps a side by side comparison with an equivalent gardiners pole would be the best promotion for these poles. If they are as good, or better, it will do wonders for sales.

I think the only people that could design that would be fisher price.

To be fair I've not had any of these issues since getting shot of domestics. Had the same clx poles since last november. That unheard of for me. If fisher price did design a pole then maybe they could design vans too to stop them being broken and abused
