Bank Holiday Monday - who's working it?
« on: May 03, 2012, 10:13:55 pm »
I'm not usually a big fan of working bank holidays but on Monday I will be.

Have 2 pubs, 1 care home and 2 offices to clean which shoulda been cleaned end of April.

Who else is working it? Or all spending time at home with family?

Am on holiday as of monday for the week. If i had the jobs to do that you have then i'd crack on, too many bank holidays for the self employed bloke not to work some of them

I agree, far too many bank holidays.

I always take easter and august bank holidays off, but may day bank holiday I'm not fussed about.

C'mon guys, it's a Bank Holiday; take the time off to relax and chill.

You know, on a Bank Holiday, there's nothing better that I like to do than to get my red knickknicks on and groove to the Sugababes in the kitchen, half nekkid whilst smerking a tab (e-cig) and necking a glass of pink (alcohol free) wine.

Life's too short to work yourself to death.  Enjoy the time off.

I didn't know there was a bank holiday untill I read this thread.

Worse than that, I wrote out a receipt for a customer last week and I got the year wrong not by one year but by two years.

I must be getting old.
