Does anyone know if you need permission to put this kind of toxic material into the main drains?  I would have thought their would have been some limitations as to what you can put down into the water works.

hi there,

hnu,

when the acid is diluted with water, it neutralises it.

i had to sit through an environmental course once, as we supplied a British Car builder, (and there arent many of them) and they went iso 9002.

and did you know that tipping milk and beer( as if you would) down the drain potentially does more damage, cause the little bacteria and the old processing works to have a hard time.

and think about what rubbish, goes down most sinks in the domestic house everyday of the week.

regards

martin
