floor cleaning in children's nursery
angela stone:
Hi,
I've got a domestic customer who owns a string of children's nurseries and she would like us to deep clean one of them for her.
Most of it is straight forward but she wants the floors to come up really well.
They are really grubby around the edges from the daily cleaners not getting into the corners.
I'm not sure what the floor covering is called but it looks like a specialist non slip lino with sparkly bits in it! Does anyone have any expertise of what would be the best thing to use?
Also is there a product you can use to seal the floors after we have given them a good clean so that they don't get in the same state again?
thanks in advance
Ange :)

From what you describe, i would think it is Altro flooring.
Should find all the info you require here, i dont think it is a flooring you would seal

Any acrylic floor sealer can be used. However you must qualify with the client that it will reduce the slip resistance of the floor.
Also be prepared for it to wear off in a month or so around the sand pit.
