Title: Employee liability insurance cost?

Hi All,what is the "typical" cost of  employee liability insurance.
I have been quoted near on £500. I do largish amounts of commercial work and have not needed it before but this is  a building  company and so are very hot on this!!

I combine my employers with public liability. The cost's linked to turnover.

i thought employers liability is required by law no matter what job it is.

they sorted out my employee & public for under £300

Or try GT Insurance. Mine is under £300 for employer's liabilty and PLI

There are variables which will affect the cost, number of  employees, turnover, what height you work to, percentage of work carried out using a ladder being a few.
